I'm going for a day if the weather is OK next week. I'm not interested in any of the presentations and such I just want to catch up with some of my friends.

Dave will have the Fret f*cker there and he may demonstrate it. :)

I have some gifts for some folks who I appreciate and I also want to thank a maker of a superb guitar that I just took delivery of. It's my current favorite right up there with my I-35 Collings that is also a favorite.

For years I squirreled away scotch for when I retire I thought I would enjoy some nice, old scotch. Then last summer I forgot one day to have my daily scotch and didn't remember for three months. So I simply stopped and have not had a drink in over a year now. Not sure I want to either I never liked the hang over the next day but I digress.

So I have a stash of scotch that makes good gifts especially when these bottles are at least 4 years old now and unopened. Or I can use it like naphtha to find cracks... :) I think my gifts will be a hit there and from what Dave tells me about Northwoods many attendees end up rather flammable after the first night :)

Pot is legal here and I'm a life long pot head so that's going to be a gift too. And we moved our shop out in the country now and right across the street from us is a pot farm and the product is superb I tested it last week and took one for the team. Where's my Oreos... :)

Anyway who's going?

WOW! What a cool weekend that would be AND we'll within driving range. I think the Fretboard Journal Summit in Chicago is the same weekend. Lots going on here in the little midwest.
